Nursery Room
At this stage in a child's development our toddlers are becoming very active and 'independent thinkers' who learn from handling real objects and by experiencing real situations.
In the happy and fun atmosphere of the nursery room, we will provide them with that rare blend of structure and freedom that they need to develop their personalities, co-ordinate their physical abilities and respond to communication and learning activities.
Our staff are trained to make detailed observations of your child's progress. Friendly and responsive, they will always make time to share details of your child's daily achievements and activities, and respond to your individual needs.
Within the nursery room each child will experience key activities from:
- Creativity Communication through a variety of medium including paint, clay, junk modelling, providing toddlers with endless opportunity for discovery and adventure.
- Music and Movement Coordinating movement through song, dance and games indoors and out.
- Role-play Development of the imagination through dressing up, drama and story telling.
- Exploring objects and shapes Through construction, jigsaws and games.
- Outdoor play Learning through nature and developing physical mobility at the same time.
- Introducing independence Through mealtimes, toilet training and choosing activities.
